National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ)

National Vocational Qualifications are a great way to maintain your learning and development focus without having to take your staff away from the workplace.

NVQs are based on national standards; these standards state what a competent person in role should be expected to do. As the learner  progresses through the programme, their skills and knowledge are compared to these standards, highlighting areas for development.

Learners are assessed over several months using various methods including: observation, discussion, testimony and workplace documentation.
